SAT

Students aiming for undergraduate admissions in USA require SAT scores. The test is offered seven times in a year and consists of three sections with a score range of 200-800 each.

Higher scores in SAT will not only earn admission but also improve one’s chances of scholarships.

SAT subject tests, commonly known as ‘SAT II’ are also available in 20 different subjects. Successful scoring in subject tests will help students get course waivers. Top universities may have the respective subject test in SAT, as a mandatory requirement for admissions to their undergraduate programs.

ACT

Similar to SAT, ACT is also accepted in all US universities and Colleges for undergraduate admissions. It is administered 6 times a year in USA and 5 times in international locations. The test consists of four components.

       • Science

Students can also opt for ACT plus a test in writing. The composite score (average of all four sections) and also the individual section scores range from 1 to 36.
